Dr. Beattey a behavioral health leader, licensed psychologist, and attorney. In his private practice, he conducts many different types of clinical and forensic psychological and neuropsychological assessments. His previous roles include serving as Chief of Psychology and Co-Director of the Center for Brain Health at Fairfax Hospital, an assistant prosecuting attorney, legal director for a public policy group, and serving on the faculty of University of California, Davis School of Medicine and Arizona State University.

Robert A. Beattey, JD, PhD, ABPP is a behavioral health leader, clinical psychologist, and attorney. His clinical practice focuses on neuropsychological, civil, and criminal assessment. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in several states and board certified in forensic psychology. He previously served as Chief of Psychology and Co-Director of the Center for Brain Health at Fairfax Hospital. He is the Managing Member of The Beattey Group, PLLC and previously served on the faculty of the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Arizona State University. Also an attorney, he practiced law as a local prosecutor and Legal Director of a non-profit policy organization, and civil litigator before completing his doctoral studies.
Dr. Beattey is the author of a number of peer reviewed empirical studies that have been published in clinical and public policy journals, as well as a frequent contributor to edited volumes, professional conferences, and other professional works, including being co-editor of The Ethical Practice of Forensic Psychology: A casebook published by Oxford University Press.
