welcome!
I am a clinical and forensic psychologist with a focus on neuropsychological, civil, and criminal forensic assessment. I'm Board Certified in Forensic Psychology. I do lots of different types of clinical and forensic psychological and neuropsychological assessments. I currently am an Assistant Professor at UC Davis School of Medicine, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department. I previously served as Chief of Psychology and Co-Director of the Center for Brain Health at Fairfax Hospital in the Pacific Northwest.
Also an attorney, I have previously worked as Legal Director for a non-profit policy organization, a civil litigator, and as a local prosecutor. In addition to clinical and forensic assessments, I teach and conduct research that is unified by a focus on evidence-based decision making in clinical, legal, and public policy contexts.
I'm the author of a number of peer reviewed empirical studies that have been published in clinical and public policy journals, as well as a frequent contributor to edited volumes, professional conferences, and other professional works, including being co-editor of The Ethical Practice of Forensic Psychology: A casebook published by Oxford University Press. You can see more details about these publications here.
